Become an official partner of ReachOut.com
Inspire, the organisation behind the award-winning mental health service ReachOut.com, is looking for partners who can help young Australians lead happier lives.
Right now, there are many young Australians that are not happy – in fact 1 in 4 young Australians has experienced some form of mental disorder. We’re talking much more than “having a rough day”. Every day young Australians are experiencing conditions such as distress, anxiety, and even depression. And one thing we know to be true is that unhappy young people grow up to be unhappy and unproductive adults. In fact 75% of all mental illnesses begin before the age of 25.
Only 30% of the young people who need professional help with their mental health get any kind of help.
A staggering 70% of young people in need or support, information, and advice are left to try and figure out their happiness, wellbeing, and health for themselves.
So we’re “on-a-mission” to help as many of those young Australians as we can to lead happier lives.
Here’s how Official Partners help young Australians
Inspire’s service ReachOut.com is proven to help those in need. It overcomes many of the barriers associated with other mental health services such as:
- It is available throughout Australia – in rural and urban areas.
- It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Young people can stay in control of their experience – they can dabble with a little bit of information to begin with, or get involved in frank discussions.
- This includes being able to stay anonymous if they wish – preventing the need to feel embarrassed, weak, or vulnerable to unsupportive attacks by others.
Official Partners help to spread the message to every young Australian that:
- There is no need to face tough times alone. ReachOut.com is created by young Australians, to help other young Australians discover new ways of approaching life’s ups and downs.
- ReachOut.com is a service that is available to young Australians around all of Australia whenever they need it – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Official Partners can help us reach those who are hardest to reach – those who don’t know ReachOut.com is there, and those who don’t even think they should seek any kind of help.
What do Official Partners provide?
- Marketing opportunities that help us reach new groups of young people in places where they are already at – in both offline and online environments.
- Generate the funds needed to support the creation of new content and features on ReachOut.com.
- Up-for-it volunteers who get involved in our work
